Fire Flight went over the Cypress Knoll with a bambi bucket about 20 minutes ago.
now that you mention it, I didn't hear any sirens either and we are close to station 25.

fire was behind our house - we live by whiteview / us1. dept of forestry was here quick and they dredged a circle around it so our fire crews could put it out... now there are just some brush trucks / mop-up trucks back there making sure it doesn't start up again... our emergency depts did a great job - they acted quick... way to go everyone! Thanks for not letting our house burn down!

Glad everyone was ok. I would have seen that if I had taken US 1 to Whiteview coming home today but I didn't. Turned at Palm Coast Parkway instead. Be Safe everyone and BE SMART and do a rain dance.
