My Mother named me after a good friend of her's. It was different. My parents love my name...I hate it...so just call me Annie.

I was named after one of my mother's brothers. He was as much as a trickster as I am. He passed away back in 2001, making this trip a bit hard not having him here to joke with.  |

My oldest brother was named after my dad.
My other brother, a biblical name.
My sister named after my mothers sister.
And me, my mother named me after her pregnant high school friend. This was probably in the 40's, so I would imagine it was very taboo!

And my brother and sister are called by their middle names always don't know why.!! And my husband also but I know why cuz his first name is leonard so he goes by Ray. No offence to any one named Leonard. |

I too was named after and old girlfriend of my father. My mom knew and I guess she did not care.
