Elderly man lost.
My husband just got a Sherif's Office call that a man with alzheimers, about 5'6" tall with white hair is lost. Last seen walking his dog on Patrick Drive.
If ANYONE sees him, could you please make sure he comes in out of the heat, is given water to hydrate with his dog and call the sheriff IMMEDIALTELY?
I don't know who he is? But he needs to be found and taken home with his dog safely. (It could dehydtrate him or leave him with heatstroke and kill him today , if he's not found and gotton home to loved ones. Gonna be hot.
We are lookiong for him here in the "P" section off Whiteview today.
-Thank you.-Lynn
(And no..that doesn't mean kidnap everyone with white hair walking their dog in the "P" section today and take them in? LOL!-Talk first to see if he's lost..)

I worry so much about these types - it seems they sometimes stop to rest in hidden areas and never get found. So so happy he was found - and the dog too! ?

I know this man pretty well. Very sweet gentleman. The problem is he can not handle his VERY hyper dog. He's constantly pulling out of his collar during their walks and taking off. The man has no control over this dog (whom he loves more than anything). He gets so upset every time happens and always asks me to help him. I feel so bad for him. I'm glad he's home safe. I had a feeling it was him so I drove around looking for a bit.

He was found inside of 30 minutes. FCSO, FireFlight were out there, REACT was on standby and a few other agencies. The phone message was from Code Red...if you want to make sure you GET a code red message go to www.FlaglerEmergency.com and register.

Glad he's been located. If we picked up all of us gray haired men, walking a dog, the Sheriff would have to buy more cars to bring us all in for Identification. Woof,Woof. Did he comply with Palm Coast's new and revised animal ordinance?

I know this was 4 days ago, but maybe we can get the man's dog a nice harness, so he might have better control.

That is a wonderful idea! My dog has one and it is so much easier to walk him. I don't have a big dog either.

I actually gave him one of mine that my dog didn't use anymore. The dog is very very hyper and believe it or not he got out of the harness once already as well.
