What is involded to get a corrections officer certification? Doesn't the FCSO do drug tests?

I don't believe he personally was a drug user, not that it makes a difference. He was caught speeding in excess of 100 mph and there were drugs in his car. FCSO had no reason to stand by him and closed the book on him. Too bad for him.

An applicant must have a complete physical before they are hired.

Corrections is a 552 hour academy. Once graduated one must pass the state certification exam for Correction Officer. Then there is extensive inhouse training once hired by an agency.

Quite a bit to put yourself through only to throw it away in a short time.

Law Enforcement (if you're wondering that too) is a 770 hour academy and also once graduated one must pass the state certification exam for Law Enforcement Officer and go through weeks of additional training when hired by an agency.

In both, there is ongoing training throughout the officers career.

yes quite a few more to go and maybe the FCSO will not be as it is (corrupt).
